Blog from our Founder:

I am grateful for the opportunities I get to work across different sectors.

If you follow what I do, for the most part it is working with people in prison and on probation. I also have worked to support:

Military Veterans
Young People

and now through partnership working with Salford CVS and Sandrine Dhana Thebe I have the privilege of providing support to people who access its Elevate Salford Programme which provides a range of services to support, train and prepare people furthest from the labour market, to gain skills, training and employment and self-employment.

At the end of August, the programme held its first Business Shower, Empowerment and Enterprise Event at Media City, and I was able to be part of such a fabulous event, enabling 6 budding and developing entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas to a room full of CVS supporters, and gaining pledges of support too for their future development.

To share their ideas was quite daunting to some, but they shone through and all gave a fabulous presentation of their ideas..

With the support of the Elevate partners, I’ll be following up with the people in the coming weeks to take their next steps to starting and developing their businesses further.
