Entrepreneurs Unlocked Has Been Shortlisted For Community and Social Responsibility at Greater Manchester Business Awards
Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Francesca James, said: “We have seen some incredible finalists over the years, and this year is no exception. It is one of the strongest shortlists we’ve ever had. The fact that so many exceptional people have applied during such a tough year is a testament to the resolve and entrepreneurial talent across the UK.
“Creating the shortlist out of so many wonderful applications was incredibly tough, so I don’t envy the judges who will now decide the regional winners. Everyone who has been shortlisted should be incredibly proud, and we’re thrilled to be able to showcase their achievements.”
Entrepreneurs Unlocked founder David Morgan said: “I am thrilled that Entrepreneurs Unlocked has been shortlisted for not one but two awards. This is recognition of the positive work we do in the community to help prison leavers to create a sustainable future for themselves.”
David Morgan has over 10 years of experience developing and delivering leadership and management, enterprise skills and business start-up programmes. Since starting Entrepreneurs Unlocked, it has engaged with hundreds of men and women in custody and the community.
David Morgan continues: “Entrepreneurs Unlocked develops rapport and builds trusted relationships with the people we engage with. Our support does not stop at the prison gate or the end of the course. We continue to work with prison leavers, helping them to create a sustainable future.
“To be a finalist for two awards is extremely humbling for me, and I couldn’t do what I do without the help of the inspirational partners and supporters who all help to do the work we do a success for the people we support. I would like to wish all the finalists at the awards the best of luck for the finals in September.”
