At the recent National Enterprise Network Conference and Awards, we were pleased to be highly commended in the Social and Community Impact in Enterprise Award.
It was cited with the following comments:
Thanks to its transformative work in empowering marginalised individuals, particularly those in custody or on probation. In just four years, it has achieved remarkable growth. Through programs like the Business in a Box, Self-Employment Workshops, and the Ambassador Programme, the organisation provides tailored entrepreneurial support, helping participants gain the skills and confidence to reintegrate into society.
The Business Incubator Project is a standout achievement, equipping individuals on probation with essential business skills and mentorship, leading to significant outcomes: 75% improved confidence and 40% are poised to begin trading in 2024.
This hands-on approach not only fosters self-employment but also reduces reoffending rates, contributing positively to communities.
